Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
